Candidates of the Opposition Parties Won Elections Only in 9 Villages out of 129 Election Districts in Kakheti Region

The candidates of the opposition parties won elections only in 9 villages out of 129 Election Districts in Kakheti region. Among them, five were from the “Entrepreneurs”; two from the “Tortladze – Democrat Party”; and two candidates from the National Council.

In the district of Kakheti region the National Movement gained 68-81 % of votes in proportional elections. The Christian-Democrat Party gained 7-20 %; Alliance for Georgia and the National Council vary between 2 % and 8 % in various districts.

In Sagarejo district the National Movement gained seven mandates; Alliance for Georgia gained one mandate and the National Council – one mandate.

In Gurjaani district the National Movement gained eight mandates, Christian-Democrat Party – one mandate and the National Council – one mandate.

In Sighnaghi district the National Movement gained eight mandates; Christian-Democrat Party – one mandate and Alliance for Georgia – one mandate.

In Dedoplistskaro district the National Movement gained nine mandates; and Christian Democrat Party one mandate.

 In Lagodekhi distric the National Movement won nine mandates and the Christian-Democrat Party - one mandate.

In Kvareli district the National Movement gained seven mandates, Christian-Democrats – two mandates and Alliance for Georgia – one mandate.

In Telavi district the National Movement gained eight mandates, Christian-Democrats one mandate and the Entrepreneurs – one mandate.

 In Akhmeta district, the National Movement gained eight mandates, Christian-Democrats – one mandate, and Alliance for Georgia – one mandate.
