June 11, 2010
Omid Esmaeil Zadeh is the Iranian citizen. He lives in Yerevan because of the persecution and intimidation from the government of his country. Currently, he is in Tbilisi.

Omid stated that he has been persecuted by the government of Iran since he abjured his faith as an act of protest. Because of the persecution, Omid Esmaeil Zadeh had to leave his house in the city of Shahre-kord in the western part of Iran and move to another part of the country. There he earned his living by farming.

Despite all that, the government of Iran continued to intimidate him. Finally Omid left Iran and moved to Yerevan. There he entered the master program at the faculty of bio-technology at the National Academy of Science in Yerevan.

According to Omid, Special Forces of Iran continue to spy him even in Yerevan. Most part of his work disappeared from his personal computer; he claims that the poison was put in his food.

A lot of people intend to go out in the street in many cities of the country on that day. Omid is going to join the overall demonstration of and will start his protest walk from the UN office in Tbilisi to the UN office in Yerevan. He will set off in the morning of June 12, 2010.
