Regional Media Outlets Support Zviad Koridze to be the new Director-General of GPB

The representatives of Georgian regional media outlets support Zviad Koridze, a journalist and media expert, to be the new Director-General of Georgian Public Broadcasting [“GPB”]. Zviad Koridze received 7 votes from the 8 members of the Board of Trustees and advanced into the second round of the election of General-Director of GPB.  
 
“We consider that Zviad Koridze stands out as a highly professional, experienced, unbiased person with a good sense of responsibility,” reads the statement of the regional media outlet representatives addressed to the Board of Trustees of GPB.
