Non-Profit Organizations Created to Give Jobs to “United Nationals” Supporters

August 11, 2010
Many activists of “National Movement” especially active during the pre-election period, still don’t have jobs.

“Still there already were artificially distended and unnecessary staff in the local government, we could not add new people, so the Ozurgeti newly elected municipality decided to create seven non-profit legal entities. Why do we need new non-profit organizations when we have sports development service, the budget of which is ten thousands of laris?” – says the opposition deputy of Ozurgeti Municipality Sakrebulo.

Most of the people from Sakrebulo supported the creation of seven non-profit legal entities. The creation of non-profit legal entities was protested by a “National” Gia Khuchua.

“There is an agriculture agency, the relevant commission of Sakrebulo, now the agronomic institutes are planted in every municipality. There is a resolution about the project of the former Sakrebulo. With this project we can perform all those functions for which one more non-profit legal entity should be created. I think that money provided from the budget for this purpose is an unpurposeful expense,” – stated “National” deputate.

According to the head of the Sakrebulo, Aleko Mameishvili, the creation of non-profit legal entities is “necessary and essential.” He will assign the leader himself, as for the financing; he’ll use the means according to the budget.
