IDP from Abkhazia on Hunger Strike at the War Hero Memorial of Heroes’ Square

70 years old IDP, Nino Tsindeliani, evicted from the so-called Isani Military Hospital, went on hunger strike at the war hero memorial of Heroes’ Square.
Tsindeliani said that, after eviction, she was left on the streets and her belongings were taken to Vashlijvari storehouse. She decided to come to the memorial where her son’s Zurab Vibliani’s name is carved and start a hunger strike as a form of protest. Tsindeliani, second group invalid and a veteran of Abkhazia war is protesting against the attitude of the government.
According to her, she was offered to settle 30 km distance from Zugdidi, in the village of Jvari but she rejected the offer. She claims that she has a student grandchild who will not be able to travel to Tbilisi from this village.
According to Vibliani, she will continue the hunger strike as long as her request for a residence place in Tbilisi is not satisfied.
The IDPs from Isani military base were evicted yesterday. They are offered a residence place in the villages of jvari and Potskho. The IDPs are protesting against this offer.
