School Principal Prohibits Teachers from Addressing the Human Rights Center

The principal of public school in Gurjaani region, village Chandari, Manana Mchedlishvili, who reducted the work hours of teachers, prohibited them from addressing the Human Rights Center Kakheti Office.

“She announced at the meeting that some of us submitted complaints in the Human Rights Center and if we dare to go there again, she would kick us out of school. I have such protector that you can’t do anything against me, she threatened,” – noted teachers.

The principal of the school, Manana Mchedlishvili, the former journalist of the television company “Gurjaani,” denies the accusations of teachers.

“What a nonsense, I’ve never said anything like that,” – stated Manana Mchedlishvili.
