Goga Khachidze dismissed two officials of the Ministry

The Ministry of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Goga Khachidze dismissed two Ministry officials, the head of the Main Agency of Managing Chemical Substances and Remains, Alverd Chankseliani and the specialist of the same agency Khatuna Akhalaia.
This information was reported by Kakheti Information Center. According to them, Chankseliani and Akhalaia physically and verbally assaulted the investigative journalists of the Center. The incident took place in the Ministry building, the Orhus Center.
Journalists were inquiring about one of the projects after consulting with the Ministry Press Center that irritated the officials.
After conducting a journalistic investigation by Kakheti Information Center, it was found out that the project financed by the Netherlands government, the purpose of which was eliminating the risk factors of expired pesticides, was practically failed by Georgian side. The journalistic investigation was conducted with the help of Eurasia Fellowship Fund.
