October 25, 2010
After mobile companies, Georgian subscribers unify against internet-providers. A special page was created in the social network Facebook where subscribers request internet-providers to increase speed of internet and reduce price on it.

The administration of the Facebook states that if number of page members reach 10 000 they will appeal to the internet providers and regulation commission and request to increase speed and reduce prices of internet. At the moment, the number of subscribers exceeded 6 000.

Radio “Komersant” has found out that price on internet in Georgia is one of the highest in the world and the speed is one of the slowest. Average price of internet-packet starts from 20 GEL and maximum speed is 10 MB per second.
