Relatives of the Missing Child Blame Police in Inattention

November 17, 2010
15-year-old Vasil Tsiklauri disappeared in the village of Arkhilos Kalo in Dedoplistskaro district. His relatives blame the police in inattention. They reported to the Kakheti News Center that they lost trace of the child several kilometers away from the Georgian-Azerbaijan border.

The parents of the adult doubt their son lost way, crossed the border and now he is on the territory of Azerbaijan. “The child is kidnapped; otherwise he would have appeared so far. We should at least find him dead. We have not found any subject that belongs to him yet. Nothing is seen,” said the father Tamaz Tsiklauri.

On September 26, Vasil Tsiklauri left home with his friend and disappeared. The Dedoplistskaro district police investigate the case. The police officers state the complaints of the parents are groundless because they are carrying out operative-investigative activities to find the child.
