November 30, 2010

Khidasheli protested against the increase of water tariff at the briefing held in Sakrebulo. She noted that the water tariff should not have been changed for 5 years according to the agreement. Khidasheli addressed the mayor to use the effective mechanism and submit complaint against the company Georgian Water and Power in the court.

She blamed the city government in making the corruptive deal with the company and noted that the she is still asking for the document of agreement made between the city government and German company from the court.
Khidasheli noted that in the competition declared in 2007, the Spanish company giving 120 million GEL, 35 million GEL more than the company that won in the competition, was rejected.

The water tariff in Tbilisi increased by 3,15 GEL for a person. According to Gigi Ugulava, he was opposing this decision.
