Polish Officials Think Russian Spies Were in Saakashvili’s Encirclement

December 6, 2010
According to the secret materials of the WikiLeaks, Polish officials think, Russian spies, who might were in his encirclement, manipulated with Saakashvili.

French Newspaper “Mond” reports that the US Ambassador to Poland made the statement based on the analysis of Frantisek Gongora, the head of General HQ of the Armed Forces of Poland.
Frantisek Gongora died in the air-crash near Smolensk.

“The general doubts that the tendency of harsh politics might increase in Moscow. He said Saakashvili “made extremely incorrect decision by launching attack on South Ossetia and Russia took advantage of this situation. So, we think Russian spies manipulated with Saakashvili (who might were in his encirclement), in order to start military operations for the destabilization of the government in Georgia,” statement of the Embassy.

According to the Mond, based on the materials of the WikiLeaks, there is one more interesting information in Gongora’s analysis. “Tbilisi requested Warsaw to provide them with the GROM rocket complexes and anti-tank rockets FAGOT. In August of 2007, Poland sent GROM rockets to Georgia.
