The Employees of the Cleaning Service Plan to Go on Strike in Dedoplistkaro

December 14, 2010
The employees of the cleaning service in Dedoplistkaro plan to go on strike. They are protesting against the expected shortening of the salaries. According to them, there are people in their work who do nothing but receive salaries at the end of month. Several dustmen refused to perform the work and threw away their brooms.

“There are 75 people registered in our work but only ten actually work. We work on weekends as well. The whole region is cleaned by us, ten people and 75 people receive salaries,” – noted the employees of the LLC Service 2007.

According to Zurab Kochiashvili, director of LLC Service 2007, the diminishing of salaries is connected to the winter season. “This happens every year, why are they protesting it now? No staff distendion has taken place,” –noted Kochiashvili.
