Two People Bit by Wolf in Shuakhevi Municipality

ON January 24th, 77-year-old Karlo Eseridze was attacked by a wild animal in the village of Ternali, at the main road. According to Eseridze, the animal was wolf.

The patient bit by the wolf was located in Shuakhevi regional hospital by the ambulance. He was provided initial medical treatment there and given a rabies shot. Pensioner Eseridze is inflicted with 8 body wounds and is going through the medical treatment in Batumi hospital.

In approximately 10 minutes after Karlo Eseridze got bitten, another man was bitten by an animal. Local suppose that it was the same wolf. Another sufferer is lightly injured and is going through the treatment in the village hospital.

Shuakhevi population has been attacked by wolf before. People are requesting help.
