Mother Charged for Killing Her Own Son Does not Have Attorney

Ineza Tsiklauri from Misaktsieli village in Mtskheta district was sentenced to pretrial detention for having killed her 5-years-old boy Shalva Tsiklauri. The Mtskheta district court satisfied the motion of the investigation.

Ineza Tsiklauri does not have an attorney. The article under what she was charged does not request mandatory protection. Tsiklauri was charged under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia –murder of negligence that is punishable up to 4-year- imprisonment.
The residents of Misaktsieli village allege that the woman killed her son by beating. She hit a piece of wood in his head. The neighbors say the mother often beat 5-year-old Shalva.
