IDPs from Abkhazia Held Protest Rally Requesting Electro Energy Vouchers

The IDPs from Abkhazia evicted by police force from the sanatorium of the resort Akhtala held a protest rally requesting electro energy vouchers at the Gurjaani local government territory.

As the protest rally participants stated to Kakheti Information Center they numerous times addressed the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation and a Health Ministry but have still not received the vouchers.

40 families are left without the electro energy vouchers. They have been living under rent in different places in the city of Gurjaani after the eviction.

After the protest rally the IDPs managed to meet the Health Minister in Gurjaani. The Minister told them that the IDPs who have not received vouchers shall address social service agency.
