Court Imposed Seven-Year Imprisonment on Fuchs and Six-Year Imprisonment on Frenkiel

Judge at the Tbilisi City Court Vazha Pukhashvili imposed 7-year-imprisonment on Rony Fuchs and 6-year and 6 months imprisonment on Zeev Frenkiel.

The judge imposed fine of 100 000 GEL on Frenkiel and 500 000 GEL on Rony Fuchs. Vazha Pukhashvili found Israeli businessmen guilty under Article 339, Part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia that is giving bribe to an official. The Judge said the defense side can appeal the verdict within one month. They can also submit pardon request to the president of Georgia.

Israeli businessmen were detained on October 14, 2010. They were accused in giving bribe to the deputy minister of finances of Georgia.
