Murman Dumbadze’s Health Situation Improved

Marekh Mgaloblishvili, the lawyer of the Public Assembly activist from Adjara Murman Dumbadze states that his health situation has improved.

“We are requesting to take X-ray as his ribs might be injured. As for his health, he feels a lot better now. He does not take medicines anymore. The doctors periodically check on his health,” – noted Marekh Mgaloblishvili.

Murman Dumbadze was detained by the law-enforcement officials on May 26th during the crackdown of the protest rally due to the charge of disobiedience to police. Tbilisi City Court imposed 30-day imprisonment against the detainee. The prisoner is placed in Telavi detainment cell. Dumbadze is severly beaten and has numerous injuries on the body. For two days he has been deprived of food and medical help.
