Unscheduled Audit of the Mediapalitra Impeded the Work of Media House

June 8, 2011

The unscheduled audit of the media holding Mediapalitra by the Revenue Service impeded the work of Media House to some extent.

As the head of the Public Relations Department of Media House Marika Darchia stated the problems were noted in distribution of newspapers.

“Yesterday’s development slightly impeded our work. The newspapers were taken to the printing house later than planned. The services of dissemination understood us. They waited for our newspapers. Our readers received our newspaper a bit late. As far as I know the sealed polygraphic stores are now being opened,” – stated Marika Darchia.

According to her, simultaneous audit of six absolutely different and separate organizations of the Media House raises doubt.

“We hope that this will not lead to serious obstructions. When the inspection is planned in six absolutely different and independent organizations, this raises serious doubt. This inspection did not concern the media services but when you enter six different organizations which are under one big corporation, of course, this raises suspicion,” – stated Marika Darchia.

The Audit Department of the Revenue Service started unscheduled inspection in six different enterprises of Mediapalitra. Several units were sealed. The seal has been opened on several of them by now.
