“Are Dead Bodies Brought to the Shore of Mtkvari River the Disappeared Demonstrators?”

According to the official information, for the last two weeks Mtkvari River has brought three bodies to the shores. The bodies have not been recognized.

According to the information submitted by different NGOs, the newspaper Rezonansi (Resonance) raises question – are these bodies the demonstrators disappeared on May 26th?

Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) states that nobody has been disappeared as a result of May 26th developments.

“Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights” does not trust the MIA information. According to the organization, there is a source according to which 15 dead bodies have been brought to the morgue.

According to Nana Kakabadze, Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights has information that four people discovered in Mtkvari River were hand tied.
