Resistance Movement Holds Protest Action in Brussels

June 13, 2011

On June 11th, the Resistance Movement protested against the May 26th developments in Georgia in Brussels at Shuman square.

The protest rally participants disseminated a special petition where it is stated that Georgian government violated international legislation when it brutally disrupted the peaceful demonstrators on May 26th of 2011 and committed a crime.

The petition also notes that the support of the West is needed in order to launch competent investigation and punish the concrete individuals.

“We addressed the leadership of Euro structures to intensify their attention towards the processes underway in Georgia where the human rights are violated every day; the prisons are full of political and illegal prisoners; where expressing your dissenting opinion means spying for Russia or Japan and etc.. This is Neo-Bolshevism and we must fight against it. We offered the Euro structures to create a commission, one like Tagliavini commission and to investigate on what happened in Georgia on May 26th,” – states Merab Bladadze, the ombudsman of Resistance Movement in the issues of political emigration.
