Natia Gedenidze Released before the Imposition of Bail

After the confessional testimony of one of the detained photo reporters Irakli Gedelidze the Prosecutor released his wife Natia Gedenidze who was detained with four photo reporters in the begining.

The proceeding of bail imposition was held on July 9th at 15:30 pm. The proceeding took place in Tbilisi City Court and the defendant attended it.

Interpressnews obtained information on the corresponding in Tbilisi City Court. The court does not talk about other details.

The prosecution requested to impose bail as a compulsory measure against Natia Gedenidze. The court satisfied their request.

According to the disseminated information, the Office of Prosecutor issued resolution and released Natia Gedenidze before the court session.

Irakli Gedenidze, Gia Abdaladze and Zurab Kurtsikidze were imposed two-month imprisonment on the same day. Their trial took place in the morning. The Ministry of Internal Affairs disseminated a statement and a video material regarding the case of photo reporters.

One more photo reporter, representative of Associated Press Shakh Aivazov was soon released. MIA explained to the public that Aivazov was brought to MIA as a witness. But if he was a witness, it is not understandable why the home of the “witness” was searched. The MIA has not answered these questions yet.
