Lia Sharmazanashvili Accuses Former High Official of Finance Police in Appropriation of her Property

Lia Sharmazanashvili, the owner of the surrounding territory of the so-called “Kochebi Lake” in Dedoplistskaro accuses the former head of Special Case Department of Investigation Department of Revenue Service (former finance police) Vepkhia Kobiashvili in the appropriation of her property.

“Kobiashvili is son-in-law of Dedoplistskaro residents and tries to get as much land as possible. He has terrorized many people. Now he likes the surrounding territory of the lake and wants to take it away. The territory is sequestrated and I am unable to do anything about it. I have been under such pressure that several times I became ill and needed a surgery. I could not attend the court proceedings and the case hearings have been postponed due to this reason,” – noted Lia Sharmazanashvili.

According to her, Kobiashvili works at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastracture now.

Despite numerous attempts Kakheti Information Center could not contact Kobiashvili.
