Director of the Gurjaani District Hospital Sacked

Director of the Gurjaani district hospital Gela Orvelashvili was sacked. According to the ICK, the reason of Orvelashvili’s dismissal was significant violations in the hospital.

The local officials also confirmed information about Orvelashvili’s dismissal.  But Orvelashvili himself said he had not been informed about being sacked yet. “I do not know anything about it and who has told it to you? It is false,” said Gela Orvelashvili.

According to the ICK, the new director of the hospital is surgeon Otar Ruadze. He is son of Manana Gogashvili, head of the Public Healthcare Center of Gurjaani district.
