Georgian Ministry of Education and Science made a comment regarding the problems of the students living in the village Vedzatkhevi of Dusheti region. The children from Vedzatskhevi have to walk 18 km every day to go to school to Ananuri. The village residents request to provide school buses.

“We know this topic. The Ministry is working to solve this issue soon,” – stated the head of the Ministry’s press center Nino Potrzhebskaia to Mtskheta-Mtianeti Information Center.

On September 20th the Governor of Dusheti municipality Lasha Janashvili stated to Mtskheta-Mtianeti Information Center that the local government cannot help Vedzatkhevi residents at this stage.
