Bidzina Ivanishvili Was Refused to Re-Register His Private Gun on Someone Else

October 26, 2011

Bidzina Ivanishvili was refused to re-register his private gun on someone else, - the press service of Bidzina Ivanishvili notified interpressnews.

According to the press service, the motive of refusal was that the service agency of MIA could not identify Bidzina Ivanishvili.

“Bidzina Ivanishvili was refused to re-register his private gun on someone else. The registration certificate was given to him on November 1st of 2010 after Bidzina Ivanishvili’s citizenship was seized and the issue of keeping this gun was raised. On October 21st of 2011 Bidzina Ivanishvili addressed the Service Agency of MIA with the request to re-register his gun on someone else based on the warrant certified by the notary. After waiting for four days, we received ungrounded refusal. The official of service agency stated that it is not understandable how Bidzina Ivanishvili, citizen of France is registered in the village Chorvila of Sachkhere region. According to him, it is not possible to identify Ivanishvili. In order to avoid misunderstandings, lawyer Shalva Tadumadze addressed the MIA to find out the issue of keeping the guns,” – reads the statement of Ivanishvili’s press service.

Press service hopes that this fact will not be a basis for one more provocative action from the government’s side.
