Chorvila Public School Director Sacked For Making Toast to Ivanishvili

December 6, 2011

Nukri Gogatishvili, director of the public school in Chorvila village, Sachkhere district, was sacked from school for having made toast to businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to the news agency Pirveli, Gogatishvili made a toast to Ivanishvili at a party and afterwards he was fired from job.

In addition to that, the source of the information alleges that Sachkhere district governor Zurab Tsertsvadze suggests the directors and teachers of the local public schools to voluntarily refuse to accept monthly allowance from Ivanishvili.

It is noteworthy that the residents of Chorvila village still receive those allowances including the relative families of governmental officials.

District governor Tertsvadze told the Pirveli that he does not want to comment on those rumors.
