The Defense Ministry is given right to call the reservists in order to check their readiness of mobilization during the urgent situations. The amendment has been made in the Law on Military Reserve Service on March 2nd through the third hearing.

The Defense Ministry will be entitled to call forth the individuals who already have gone to the reserve service in order to check their readiness of mobilization during the urgent situations through different means of communication.

In this case, the Defense Ministry will be obliged to inform the employer of the called individual and the absence at work will be considered pardonable.

According to the same amendments, the Presidential decree will determine the cases of such recruitment and the rule of notification. The Defense Ministry will ensure the bringing of reservists to the place of destination.
