Bidzina Ivanishvili: “Saakashvili is Little Stalin but Without Talent”

March 15, 2012

Leader of Coalition Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili called President of Georgia “Little Stalin” at the meeting with supporters in Gurjaani.

“They created new government agency equipped with uncertain functions. It seems like Chamber of Control became bigger than Office of Prosecutor. People are summoned with incomprehensible requests. I give you promise that they will answer by ten times for the insult you are subjected to. I call on every person who fulfills their orders. I do not want everybody to be accountable for the service of one person. I want you to understand that many government officials are victims of the violence which is coming from one person, a coward who manages to exercise this violence. Let us wait till fall. We are in the defense position today. We have plans, we have a program. Soon we will start to unite people, we will raise their aspiration and they will back out.

Today is the peak of their injustice. They deny everything and everyone. The law is neglected and abused. This is centralized approach deriving from one person. Little Stalin managed such things. But this man does not have talent. He does not. He cannot overcome fear and based on this fear he wants to torture population. They do not have much time left. We have to endure little and things will be the way we want. Nobody will be able to oppress you. Kakheti population has fought so much, have invested so much for Georgia’s victory. It endured biggest tragedies. What can one unbalanced person do against people with such history,” – Ivanishvili addressed his supporters.

According to Ivanishvili, Saakashvili is not liked in other regions either. “He should already look for shelter. I wish he realized what he is doing and apologize. Georgian people are tolerant and will forgive him. I hope he understands what happened and stops, but he is obsessed with Satan,” – Ivanishvili noted.
