33-year-old Prisoner Died Due to Tuberculosis

33-year-old Otar Khabelashvili sick with tuberculosis died in #19 Medical Department of Convicts. He lived in the village Sveneti of Gori region.
Lawyer Mamuka Nozadze reported on the prisoner’s death to presage.tv. He defended the interests of Otar Khabelashvili. According to Mamuka Nozadze, several months were left before his release.
“He was severely ill. He had a relevant conclusion of the National Bureau of Expertise. However, neither the court nor the joint medical commission of Ministries of Health and Penitentiary decreased the penalty,” – Nozadze stated.
