June 15, 2012

Enforcement Bureau sealed up Zakaria Kinkladze’s house, head of Georgian Dream’s Akhmeta office. Kinkladze said the Ltd, where he was director, had taken a loan of 35 000 USD from the Bank of Georgia which he could not pay after he started political activities [and faced some financial problems].

“On October 29, 2012 after my son was sacked from job, my lease agreement was ceased and products were thrown away from my shop due to my political activities, the Court satisfied the lawsuit of the Bank of Georgia and imposed payment of 107 000 lari on me; this sum includes loan, fines, etc. Before passing judgment, I asked Judge Mchedlishvili to give me one week to negotiate with bank on the debt-payment timesheet but he refused,” Zakaria Kinkladze told ICK.

Kakheti office of the National Enforcement Bureau clarified they sealed up Kinkladze’s house based on the enforcement notification of the Telavi District Court.
