Mtskheta Assembly Participant Sacked from Job

Supporter of the Coalition Georgian Dream, Akaki Tskiminauri, 20, who had participated in the Georgian Dream’s assembly in Mtskheta on July 1, was sacked from job.

Akaki Tskimanauri was an assistant at the Restaurant Shatili in Dusheti during 5 months. Restaurant administration had not signed contract with him and paid salary of 150-200 lari in cash. Akaki Tskimanauri is member of socially vulnerable family. His father is worker at Dusheti Dusting Service. According to the Information Center of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, he is also threatened with dismissal unless his son stops cooperation with the Georgian Dream.

Akaki Tskimanauri refused to comment on the issue with the ICMM being afraid his faither might also lose a job.

Restaurant Shatili belongs to Giorgi Kokhrashvili, 30% share-holder of TV-Company Imedi. Chairman of the Dusheti district office of the United National Movement Zurab Tskaruashvili is director of the restaurant.
