Political Advertisement Again Aslan protested in Batumi

September 17, 2012

On September 15, young members of the Georgian Dream held assembly in front of Adjara government house. They protested National Movement’s famous advertisement Again Aslan.

Youth branch of the Georgian Dream stated that members of Aslan Abashidze’s government occupy much higher positions in the National Movement’s government than they are offered in accordance to the advertisement (member of Adjara Supreme Council).

They presented several photos of them: Robert Chkaidze – former mayor of Batumi, Anzor Bolkvadze -Vice-speaker of the parliament, Vazha Bolkvadze former minister of finance and economy in Adjara, Gela Tshkomelidze former district governor of Kobuleti, Iasha Shervashidze and others.

Akaki Gvianidze head of Georgian Dream’s youth branch in Batumi said: “We remember who was in that government and who was who. We wonder why National Movement doesn’t remember faces of those who they have in Adjara’s government now. Robert Chkaidze was active participant of Choloki incidents before he became the Batumi Mayor during this government; he was protecting Aslan Abashidze with all his power. Anzor Bolkvadze was also supplying Choloki rebels with guns and money.”
