CDM candidate met representatives of Non-governmental Organizations

September 20, 2012

“We are the political subject which can sit at the negotiation table with the government.

We, the Christian Democratic Movement, established a new rule in our reality (which really didn’t exist before), that despite being in the opposition we could change much for our society and country,” CDM’s majoritarian candidate in Kutaisi met NGO representatives with this pathos on September 18.

At the meeting, initiative by NGOs and Kutaisi Democratic Engagement Center, Akhvlediani represented the action plan and main priorities.

Health, education, agriculture, small and medium business this is the areas which majoritarian candidate promises to develop in Kutaisi.

Giorgi Akhvlediani said it’s not right to built Lazika when there are so many unemployed people and students who can’t pay for education in the country.

CDM’s candidate, who tries to get in the parliament as a majoritarian deputy for the second time, reminded people of those problems that were solved by his team.

“CDM assisted about 300 drivers to keep their jobs. Probably everyone remembers summer of 2010 when self-government decided to bring new buses in a city and tried to leave them without jobs. We took this case in the parliament and at the end it was decided positively, “ said Giorgi Akhvlediani.
