Bedukadze said prison personnel killed a prisoner when raping him with truncheon

Vladimer Bedukidze, during his skype interview from Brussels with the Obiektivi, said that one prisoner died when Akhalaia, Kardava and Mukhadze were torturing him. He also mentioned last name of the dead person and apologized to the family members for that.

According to Bedukidze, victim of torture was intelligence officer and they tortured him to compel to admit betrayal of the country.

“It is very hard to say and even harder for family members to hear it but I confirm that the officer died during torture. Aleksandre Mukhadze and Oleg Patsasia were raping him with truncheon as they were ordered to do so by Bacho Akhalaia and Megis Kardava. I am ready to confirm what I say. Video materials are kept in Akhalaia’s safe,” Bedukadze said.

Vladimer Bedukidze is former employee of prison number 8. He was recording torture facts. Bedukidze left position due to his decision. Right now he is wanted and is in Brussels. He requested political shelter in Belgium.
