Request of the “Movement for the Just Georgia

September 24, 2012
Batumi office of the Movement for Just Georgia responded to the fact of prisoners’ torture. They evaluated the fact as vandalism and petitioned to the president.

“After screening these horrifying and shocking facts that occur in Georgian prisons President of Georgia shall announce amnesty and release prisoners under age of 45. Everyone must be punished; not only those who personally committed the crime but they, who ordered them to commit this crime,” said Boris Mikeladze leader of the Movement in Batumi.

The party members believe their requests are adequate to the current situation that occurs in prisons. Unless their requests are satisfied they will start large-scaled demonstrations after the elections.
