Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed the arrest of Nikoloz Janjgava

Ministry of Internal Affairs confirms that they have arrested former military official Nikoloz Janjgava.

Salome Makharadze head of press service at MIA stated that Janjgava was arrested for violation of Article 173 of Administration Code of Georgia – Disobedience to police.

Janjgava was imprisoned for 60 days. According to Makharadze, he was arrested on August 20 and probably his term expires on October 19. Makahradze does not have information about details of Janjgava’s detention.
