Khoni court partly satisfied Georgian Dream’s claim

October 9, 2012

On October 8 Khoni court partly satisfied Nikoloz Sanodze’s claim, majoritarian candidate of the Georgian Dream. Court imposed disciplinary responsibility on the chairmen of PS # 8 and 10 but did not recognize final protocols invalid.

As soon as the trial started Sanodze’s lawyer requested to change the judge and his secretary because he had noticed Khoni DEC # 55 chairwoman Ia Kuchukidze enter the judge’s room before the trial.

“I had a reasonable doubt that DEC chairwoman met the judge and before trial judge was interested in the final judgment. In fact court passed controversial verdict because in one part chairpersons were punished and in the second part final protocols weren’t annulled,” said Robinzon Khurtsilava lawyer of Nika Sanodze.

DEC Chairwoman Ia Kuchukidze said she had entered the secretary’s office for technical issues. Georgian Dream plans to appellate this decision.
