Saknakhshiri Threatens Health of Tkibuli Residents

October 25, 2012

Tkibuli residents complain about Saknakhshiri’s activities (Georgian coal). Those, who live at the entrance to the town, have been bothered with dust and unpleasant smell for many years but the problem was not resolved yet.

Locals said former majoritarian MP of Tkibuli Pavle Kublashvili suggested them to resettle to the suburb – to a so-called Lenini settlement where there are empty flats.

Population said the materials collected near residential houses pollutes air and creates unbearable conditions in the town. They request the administration of the Saknakhshiri to clean the territory. Unless their requests are satisfied they will block street.
