Businessman Blames Davit Sakvarelidze and Lado Vardzelashvili in the Seizure of His Property

October 29, 2012

Former owner of the Gori swimming pool Giorgi Giguashvili blames Gori district prosecutor Giorgi Chanturidze, MP Davit Sakvarelidze and former regional governor Lado Vardzelashvili in the illegal seizure of his property.

Interpresnews’ correspondent reported that Giorgi Giguashvili petitioned to the minister of justice and chief prosecutor and requested them to respond to the property seizure fact.

He clarified that in Summer of 2007 he purchased Gori swimming pool at the auction and in 2008 prosecutor Giorgi Chanturidze met him and demanded to assign the property to the Gori district administration.

Giguashvili claims he was threatened with planting narcotics or weapon unless he accepted their proposal. He added that regional prosecutor Davit Sakvarelidze and former regional governor Lado Vardzelashvili were involved in the seizure of his property.
