Businessman Blames Zurab Adeishvili and Davit Kezerashvili in Violence

November 2, 2012

Businessman Temur Kvaratskhelia blames former minister of justice Zurab Adeishvili and former minister of defense Davit Kezerashvili in violence.

On November 1, businessman held press-conference together with Nikoloz Mzhavanadze, the chairman of the Union of Human Rights Defenders in the restaurant Ortachala Garden, which belonged to him in the past.

Kvaratskhelia said the government tried to harass his business via Jewish businessman Sason Hock standing behind Davit Kezerashvili and Zurab Adeishvili. He said the former ministers personally got interested in the five-storied culture and business center located in Ortachala. Jewish businessman Sason Hock gave 1 300 000 USD credit to him to finish construction and business.

Kvaratskhelia added that Sason Hock requested him to register the mortgaged land on his name as a guarantee for grant second credit; as for the third credit, the foreign businessman requested Kvaratskhelia to register restaurant on him.

“Sason Hock several times admitted that Zurab Adeishvili, Davit Kezerashvili and other governmental officials stood behind him. He noted several times that he was going to earn much money in Georgia,” Temur Kvaratskhelia said.

The businessman said his company was fined several times by the Tbilisi City Hall for no reasons.

In addition to that, Nikoloz Mzhavanadze said senior officials of the Georgian government, hiding behind the Jewish businessman, forced Kvaratskhelia to register his property – building on the land of 1 400 sq. meters on his name within three years and nowadays Sason Hock is forced to put the under construction building, with the price of 10 million USD, at the auction.

“Signs of crimes punished under Article 150, 180 and 182 of the Criminal Code are detected in Sason Hock’s activities – those crimes are swindler and misappropriation of other person’s property,” Mzhavanadze said.

Businessman Temur Kvaratskhelia and Union of Human Rights Defenders will soon appeal the prosecutor’s office against Sason Hock and former senior officials.
