Three New Fractions in Tskaltubo Municipal Board

December 17, 2012

After the elections of October 1, former members of the National Movement created several fractions in the municipal board of Tskaltubo district. The reason was Georgian Dream’s victory in the elections.

Today, Tskaltubo municipal board has three new fractions – “Society Tskaltuboeli,” “Georgian Dream – Tskaltubo” and “Tskaltuboeli”; they were set up during last one week.

Founder and deputy chair of the Free Democrats’ Tskaltubo office Vano Rokva doubts these fractions will do much good for the town.

However, representatives of all three fractions justify creation of the fractions by future development of the town. They intend to cooperate with new government.

Chairman of the municipal board Mamuka Sagareishvili said establishment of fractions is ordinary political process and board members have this right under the law.
