Tutors at Kindergartens Demand Increase in Salary

December 26, 2012
Employees of Kutaisi based kindergartens request increase in their salaries. Tutors say they work hard but their salaries are not relevant to their job.

On 24th December, employees of kindergartens met Right-wing member of the municipal board Mamuka Mgvdeladze, who is a chairman of the fraction “Kutaisi” and requested self-government to assist them.

“Our salary is 200 GEL; it is a ridiculous reimbursement of our daily work. We are responsible for children’s safety and their lives; they require our permanent attention. We work in hard regime from 9am to 6pm“, they said.

Representatives of education city service at the self-governmental body state tutors have fair demands and promise relevant changes will be introduced to the next year budget.
