Shota Khizanishvili Returns to Position as Assistant to the Mayor of Tbilisi

The mayor of Tbilisi has informed Interpressnews that Shota Khizanishvili has reassumed  the position of assistant to the mayor of Tbilisi.

Khizanishvili reassumed his official duties today. He temporarily vacated his position due to his imprisonment; he was released on January 17 and fined GEL 35,000.

The prosecutor office charged Khizanishvili with false testimony, interfering in the work of a political party, illegal monitoring, and the abuse of power.
