Municipal Board Member Is Blamed in Financial Deals with the Member of National Movement”

January 24, 2013

The head of fraction Kutaisi at Kutaisi Municipal Board Mamuka Mgvdeladze, blamed the Municipal Board member, Gogita Gogelashvili in financial deals with the member of National Movement.  Few weeks ago, Gogolashvili left the faction “Christian-Democrats” and moved to the “National Movement”.  Mgvdeladze says, Gogolashvili made the decision after having consulted the issue with the Imereti regional governor. .

“When Gogita Gogelashvili held a briefing and stated he had decided to quit the faction, a bank account was opened on his name in VTB Bank on the same day. Politics is not the trading counter, to buy or sell something. Political Party, which used to count others’ millions, must not establish the practice of sale and purchase.  I am sure, Gogelashvili regrets his decision, but it is already late,” said Mamuka Mgvdeladze.

Gogita Gogelashvili said Mgvdeladze’s statement is not serious and added that it was his own decision to move to the “National Movement” and the other accusations are absurd.
