Sequestration Cancelled on Mini-Buses and They Resumed Working

February 1, 2013
After seven-day strike, every rout mini-bus resumed working today, - Davit Asanidze, technical director of the Company Tbilisi Mikroavtobusi told Interpresnews.

According to him, TBC Bank canceled sequestration from the seized mini-buses and drivers and the Company signed seven-point agreement.

“With regard to the payment of individual entrepreneur we clarified to the drivers that it is beyond our competence to make any changes in it. We can just provide them with legal assistance or release statements in their support. The second point of our agreement is that drivers, who went on strike, will continue working in their usual places. They will individually select places for the technical service of the mini-buses. We allowed drivers not to pay fees during seven days and to reimburse the damage they have seen during the strike. Besides that, we will monitor the itinerary of those route mini-buses who claim that their daily payments are unfair. Every driver claims fees are unfair. The last paragraph is about the initiative group, which will meet us once per month and discuss current problems together with us to find ways for their resolution,” said Asanidze.

On January 31, TBC Bank sequestered mini-buses. Representatives of the National Enforcement Bureau clarified that mini-buses were seized because of credit debts however as the Tbilisi Mikro-Avtobusi Company claims the sequestration is already canceled.
