President Met Bagdati District Population

February 12, 2013

On February 11, President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili paid visit to Bagdati district, Imereti region. Regional governor Vakhtang Balavadze and MP Giorgi Tevdoradze also attended the meeting.

Bagdati district local government clarified that President met Bagdati population in the Hall of Music School. However, people, who had arrived to meet the president without invitation, were not allowed into the hall. Locals said the people who attended the meeting were not residents of Bagdati district.

Neither media representatives were allowed to attend the meeting. After the meeting, the participants did not make comment with media. So, it is unclear what the president and audience spoke about in the hall.
