Public Defender will study the issue of Agricultural University on his own initiative

Due to the high public interest, Public Defender of Georgia will study the abolition of the authorization of the Agricultural University on his own initiative.

Public Defender considers that academic and political issues should not be mixed, the issue should be resolved in the legal framework and right to education of thousands of students shall not be violated.

After the detailed analysis of the case, the Public Defender of Georgia will make a special statement and will present his view on authorization of the Agricultural University to the public.

On March 11, 2013 the Authorization Council of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement abolished the authorization of the Agricultural University.
