Family Members of the Deceased during the Lapankuri Special Operation addressed Public Defender to make alternative medical examination

On May 7, 2013 family members of the deceased during the Lapankuri Special Operation addressed the Public Defender to make alternative medical examination to the bodies of the deceased.

Public Defender calls the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to make alternative medical examination to the bodies of the deceased during the Special Operation at the Village Lapankuri, Lopota Gorge.

One of the well known experts gave consent to make an alternative medical examination without remuneration.

Public Defender expresses hope that alternative medical examination will not be hampered or delayed due to formal reasons and employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will facilitate to make such examination.
