The former Minister of Defense Bacho Akhalaia demands apologies for linking his name with the so called illegal recordings and demands apologies from irresponsible people or publications.

As Akhalaia’s statement says, his name was actively used in relation with different criminal facts. The statement was released on Bacho Akhalaia’s Facebook page.

“The last such attempt was mentioning my name regarding the so called illegal recordings. I declare publicly that I have no connection with gaining the recordings or spreading them. Furthermore, I’m will in coming days address the court and demand apologies from all the irresponsible people and publications for discrediting my and my family’s name. I’ve never retreated from the challenges and I’m not going to now. I have not arrived in Georgia to get comfort and assistance by making a deal with someone. I assessed the situation objectively and I knew exactly what was ahead of me and no matter the difficult situations, I know that I will have to go through this difficult route to prove my truth”, Bacho Akhalaia said.
