“No to unisex marriages, increased salaries and pensions to population, support of business, preferential tariff policy in the country,” these were pre-election promises of Giorgi Targamadze, presidential candidate of the Christian-Democratic Movement during his meeting with the electorate in Bagdati, Imereti region.
Giorgi Targamadze learned problems of local people; heard wishes of Bagdati population and promised them to improve social-economic conditions in case of victory in the elections.
Employment was one of the main requirements of local people.
“Our country has enough capacity to offer normal living conditions to each citizen and to enable them to earn their livings. It is necessary to create minimal conditions for that; previous governments promised to create working places but did not do that; it should not repeat again,” Giorgi Targamadze told the electorate gathered in the Bagdati center.
Targamadze visited Bagdati on September 21 together with other leaders of the CDM and promised local population to rise subsistence minimum up to 250 lari.
